CHALLENGE
One of the largest international solar manufacturers had to ramp up and scale their business fast, needing 1,100 employees within only five months due to a mandated staffing level increase and deadline. They came to Imagine Staffing with a goal that had to be achieved, but no approach or objectives on how to accomplish the task at hand. The company was also in need of a staffing firm that could withstand the level of interviews and screenings that would be necessary for this many new employees.
APPROACH
Imagine Staffing offered a world class contingent workforce management program that leveraged the community, new jobs, and resources. This strategy included on-site presence and mass visibility to candidates who were interested in this type of work, creating a line around the building of Imagine Staffing’s headquarters daily. To meet and exceed the goal, the short-term objective was to interview up to 100 people a day for multiple open shifts and positions. Once candidates were hired, it was also important that Imagine Staffing could provide mass digital communication about cancellations, payroll, and other onboarding factors promptly. A hotline was also created for candidates to call and allowed Imagine Staffing to address their concerns, issues, and payment questions.
SOLUTION
Overall, the project was a huge success, and Imagine Staffing met the client’s hiring demand with 1,300 new employees after screening nearly 10,000 people. Imagine Staffing opened its space for project implementation and allowed the client’s representatives to view our people, process, and technology firsthand. With appropriate governance in place, Imagine Staffing provided guidance on the interview process, on-site drug screening, and proper onboarding.
Imagine Staffing’s strategy for implementing a contingent workforce management program has proven proof of concept. They understand that time is money, especially on a shorter time frame and were able to affect the client’s name and business in a positive light.
